About Me

From modest beginnings, we've grown through unwavering dedication and a commitment to continuous improvement. Each step has reinforced our core belief in the power of collaboration and the importance of integrity. We're passionate about what we do, and we're excited to share our story with you.

Who I mediate for?

My mediation practice focuses on contracts and employment-related disputes. I accept referrals from NJ Superior Courts.   I am also hired directly by attorneys, businesses, and individuals

Examples of cases: discrimination complaints, mediation between two executives within the organization, and contract dispute between co-owners of a restaurant.

What's my background?

I have 20+ years of experience in workplace harassment prevention, and harassment investigations alongside helping organizations manage human resources compliance and leadership development. I bring to bear this background coupled with my experience as a business owner, continuous professional development education and certification as a NJ Rule 1:40  mediator.

Where do I mediate?

While based in New Jersey, I provide virtual mediation services nationally where permitted

Where's my dream job?

I want to travel the world as a guest speaker or visiting professor focusing on conflict, history, and art.

What do I believe about mediation?

  1. Mediation is more effective when the actual parties speak - tone and body language often reveal pathways to resolution that wouldn't otherwise emerge.

  2. Genuine commitment  to the processes means accepting that you probably won't get everything that you want or believe you deserve.
  3. Mediation is difficult because it challenges participants to think as much about how to make the process and negotiations safe for the other party as they do themselves.

Why do I mediate?

Candidly, mediation and conflict resolution work appeal to me because I believe it's important that individuals involved in conflict feel understood and respected. When a person feels unheard, part of their agency is taken from them. Mediation allows me to help the parties hold tension, identify solutions, and preserve their self respect.

Mediation gives the parties the best opportunity to be heard and to leverage their character and demeanor to craft a tenable solution.
